Kitchen Remodel #5: To open up the kitchen and give the entire downstairs better flow, we brought down the support wall between the dining room and the kitchen to a half wall height. We installed a beautiful stainless steel vented hood, with a glass canopy above the range. The cabinetry is a Maple flat paneled mitered door with crown molding up to the ceiling which wraps around the kitchen. The countertop depth refrigerator is essential to making this kitchen comfortable for both husband and wife to work in the kitchen at the same time.
